Loss of innocence?

12th july 2007-around 1.30 p.m
As the advent of evening always hovers over the morning, as the advent of youth is inevitable for childhood, was this knowledge always there to conquer my innocence? As I sat watching the snow through the library window, I heard a shriek behind me. It was as out of place in a library as the snow in Mumbai. As I turned to look for the origin of the voice, I saw a doll running ahead of her mother, aloof of the surroundings, the rules, the world. She went and removed a book from a shelf, I wanted to stop her, no, not because she would spoil the book, instead the opposite.
